(ORANGEVILLE) - An Orangeville house was destroyed by fire this morning after an earlier fire rekindled.

Firefighters from Orange County Rural District II Volunteer Fire Department were called to 2830 W. County Road 500 N., where Tim and Paula Morris resided. A third person, whose name was not available, also lived in the house. The house was owned by Adam Hill.

A motorist reported the fire to the Orange County Sheriff's Department at 3:07 a.m. today.

When firefighters arrived on the scene, they requested the assistance of Orange County Rural District I VFD.

Steve Sallee, deputy chief with the District II department, reports its units first were called to the scene at 8:15 p.m. Sunday. The first fire was contained to a laundry room. After the fire was out the family left for the night.
