(BEDFORD) - A Bedford police officer was flagged down Monday to report three girls were being followed by a strange man on a bike.

The girl told police she and two other girls had been at the Bedford Public Library on K Street and were leaving when a man with dark hair, wearing dirty blue jeans and riding a gray or blue bike began following and yelling at them.

Two of the girls headed one direction, while the other headed toward the Circle K station at 14th and L streets.

There the girl called her mother and the police officer was flagged down. The incident happened at 7:12 pm.

The officer did locate the man at 14th and L streets and spoke with him. The man was not arrested.
