(BEDFORD) - The first practice for the Bedford Community Band will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the band room at Bedford North Lawrence High School.
Rehearsals will start at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays through July.
Concerts are planned for 7 p.m. on May 27 (Memorial Day) and July 28 at the Otis Park Band Shell.
A July 4 concert on July 4 will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the Thornton Park Pavilion. I case of bad weather, the alternate facility is the BNL Performing Arts Center.
Anyone 14 or older is invited to bring an instrument and join the band.
This marks the 24th year for Brian Lackey to serve as the band's director. For more information, call Lackey at 279-9756, ext. 2742.
