(BEDFORD) - Seventeen contenders will take the stage tonight at this year’s Mr. BNL contest that pokes fun at beauty pageants.
Sponsored by Renaissance, a program that rewards students for good attendance and grades, Mr. BNL will place a crown on its ninth winner.
Students are judged on fitness, talent, formal wear/interview, costume and judges' overall impression. The costume should reflect the club or team they represent.
Hoping to be crown Mr. BNL this year and their sponsors are: Kolten Branaman, French Club, Taylor Branham, Khet Club, Zack Deckard, Latin Club, Isaac Fender, German Club, John Garriott, Key Club, Hunter Hickman, Spanish Club, Mark Hudelson, Breakfast Club, Nic Kaufman, Swimming, Evan Lee, Track, Ethan Lintz, Renaissance, Corbin McCullough, Soccer, Brenno Nascimento, Musical, Andrew Roberts, Wrestling, Tanner Romine, Winter Guard, Dravan Smith, Marching band, Enoch Spaulding, Newspaper,Clayton Spreen, Football.
The show kicks off at 7 p.m. at the BNL Performing Arts Center.
Admission is $5.
The cost to vote on the People's Choice award is $1 per vote.
