(BROWNSTOWN) - The trial of a Medora man facing 10 felony counts of forgery has been set for June.
During Thursday's hearing in Jackson Circuit Court, it was determined that the jury trial for Phillip R. Meade II will begin on June 25.
The 33-year-old Meade was arrested after a number of counterfeit bills began showing up at area businesses.
According to authorities, Meade was being held in the Blount County Jail in Maryville, Tennessee at the time of his arrest.
Jackson County authorities drove to Tennessee to retrieve Meade, who was then booked into the Jackson County Jail.
