(SOLSBERRY) - Indiana State Police discovered a meth lab and a 30-year-old Solsberry man was arrested.

Anna Rochelle of the Greene County Daily World reports that Nathan Mills was taken arrested on March 20. When he appeared in Greene Superior Court for an initial hearing this week, Judge Dena Martin set his bond at $100,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. As of Thursday he was still incarcerated in the Greene County Jail.

Around 6 p.m. on March 20, ISP Detective Jon Patrick and Troopers Josh Allen, Kent Rohlfing and Eric Russell found the meth lab at a home on Overhill Lane.

They also found meth lab-related items in a burn pile in between two homes on the property. Mills lived in one and his brother the other.

When police searched Mills home they smelled the strong odor of solvent coming from the trailer and found items near the front door consistent with making meth. Police had to force their way inside the trailer after Mills refused to open the door.

Mills was sitting on the couch with a woman, Myca Sanders.

When interviewed, Mills told police he an Oxycontin user and that's why the officers found so many syringes, that he hadn't been in the trailer much, but he believed someone had been using it to manufacture meth.

29-year-old Sanders, of Bloomington was arrested on charges of visiting a common nuisance. Mills has been charged with dealing meth, possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of anhydrous ammonia or ammonia solution with the intent to manufacture a drug.
