Seymour Man Faces Prison After Robbing North Vernon Jewelry Store

(SEYMOUR) - A Jackson County man faces 20 to 50 years in prison after his conviction Wednesday of robbing a North Vernon jewelry store in June of 2011.

Keith R. Miller, 41, of Seymour was found guilty of robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, a Class A felony, punishable by 20 to 50 years in prison, by a jury Thursday after two and a half days of testimony in Jennings Circuit Court.

Miller is scheduled to be sentenced at 8:30 a.m. April 8 by Jennings Circuit Judge Jonathan W. Webster.

Miller and Justin James Eugene Clark, 23, of Madison are accused of robbing Pfeiffer's Jewelry Store in North Vernon on June 16, 2011.

Clark was scheduled to stand trial for the incident April 9 in Jennings Circuit Court, but that trial has been canceled.
