Reward Offered For Information In Lakin Williams Death

(BEDFORD) - The family of Lakin Williams is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible through the negligence or foul play in her death.

Bedford police received a 911 call January 27 reporting Williams was unresponsive in a vehicle parked in the 1800 block of 4th Street.

When police arrived, Williams was not breathing and officers performed CPR and used a defibrillator on Williams to revive her.

Williams was taken to IU Bloomington Hospital, where she died.

Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley says no other information is available at this time because of the ongoing investigation.
