(UNDATED) - Now that we have changed our clocks, this is the perfect time to check your smoke detector’s batteries to make sure it is working properly.
Bedford Fire Chief Jon Wagner says smoke detectors should be checked at least twice a year to make sure they are working without any problems.
Wag er says if you are in need of a smoke detector, and don't have the resources to get one, you can visit the Bedford Fire Department for assistance.
