(NASHVILLE) - Matt Stark, principal of Brown County High School, has announced that he will be resigning his position with Brown County Schools effective in June.

Stark has accepted a position as high school principal at Urbana High School in Urbana, Ill.

A news release from Chrissy Keefauver at Brown County Schools stated that family issues are causing Stark to leave Brown County after 10 years as principal and 20 years in the district.

Stark will move to Urbana during the summer and begin his new responsibilities in July.
Brown County Schools will immediately begin a search for Stark's successor.

"We wish him every success in his new endeavor and will certainly miss his communicative style of leadership at Brown County High School," the release noted.
