(UNDATED) - INDOT is going to begin repair work on several important sections of US 231 through Dubois and Martin Counties in the coming weeks.
First, Cher Elliott reports that INDOT crews will start resurfacing 231 between US 50 in Loogootee up to SR 58 on or after Monday March 18.
Traffic will be maintained on the road as work continues by contractor Dave O'Mara, which was awarded the $1.8 million contract.
Then Elliott says that work on US 231 from Huntingburg through Jasper will start some time after April 1.
