(BEDFORD) - The Easter bunny will make a special appearance at Murray Forest Park on March 30.

"We've got thousands of eggs ready to go," said Gary Dorsett, recreation director. "We'll have egg hunts for four different age groups. This is free to the public, and we start at noon. Don't get there five minutes late, because it will probably be over."

Dorsett said the deadline to register for this summer's softball leagues is Thursday at 4 p.m. The season begins April 15. The first tourneys of the season, one each for men and women, are slated for April 13-14.

The season's first Trash-N-Treasure sale is scheduled for April 6 at Thornton Park. Reservations are $10 and include two parking spaces.
