(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Dulcimer Society and Friday Night Dulcimer Friends of Mitchell are offering a day of dulcimer workshops this Saturday at the Mitchell Church of Christ Family Life Center.
Jackie Armstrong of Corydon, one of the leaders of the Corydon dulcimer group, will present three workshops for different ability levels. Each session lasts 90 minutes.
The first session is at 10 a.m. and is for beginners who have never played.
The second session is at 12:30 p.m. and is for novice players who are able to play several tunes.
The third session is for intermediate players, familiar with chords, and ready to learn harmonies and embellishments. Start time is 2:15 p.m.
The price to attend any or all of the workshops is $10.
