(BEDFORD) - If the Weather Channel predictions holds true, the BNL Girls Softball Invitational Tournament should go off without a hitch Friday and Saturday.
Six teams will participate in two pools, with Edgewood, New Washington and Eastern Greene in Pool A, and Pool B consisting of an All-HHC lineup of BNL, Floyd Central and New Albany.
The tourney starts Friday at 2 p.m. when New Washington faces BNL, with Edgewood and Floyd Central to follow at approximately 3:45. Game 3 has Edgewood and New Albany slated for 5:30, and Eastern Greene and BNL meeting at 7:15.
Action resumes Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. when New Washington and New Albany clash, followed by Eastern Greene and Floyd Central at 12:15 p.m., New Washington and Floyd Central at 2, Eastern Greene and New Albany squaring off at 3:45, and Edgewood against BNL at 5:30.
