Last updated on Friday, March 8, 2013

(BLOOMFIELD) - Two women were injured in a crash involving two vehicles east of Bloomfield at Sharkey Road around 1:37 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.

Anna Rochelle of the Greene County Daily World reports that Greene County Sheriff's Special Deputy Karen Oliphant, the investigating officer, responded to the scene along with additional personnel from the sheriff's department, the Richland Fire Department, Center Fire Department and the Greene County Ambulance Service.

Rachel Love, 25, Bloomfield, was transported by ambulance to Monroe Hospital in Bloomington with a possible broken arm.

Jeannie Harden, 29, Bloomfield, complained of pain "all over" but was not treated on the scene.

Deputy Oliphant reported Harden was operating a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier westbound on State Road 54 when Love, operating a 2006 Jeep Liberty, pulled out into the path of Harden. Love said she did not see Harden's car.
