(BEDFORD) - When you walk in March for Babies, you give hope to the more than half a million babies born too soon each year.
Form a team, or come and walk at the Bedford National Guard Armory. Registration begins at 10 am with the 1.5 mile walk at 10:30 am.
The money raised will support programs in the community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten babies.
March for Babies has been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $2 billion to benefit all babies.
The money you raise for stronger, healthier babies is so vital to the lifesaving work of the March of Dimes that they've created an incentive program as a way of saying thank you. When you raise $350 or more in March for Babies, you'll receive a $15 gift card to your choice to either Kmart or Macy's. Raise $500 and get a $25 gift card, and so on. Raise money for a great cause and treat yourself to a gift.
