(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Bedford are partnering to sponsor a Clean Sweep Event for the City.
All citizens, businesses, and organizations are invited to participate in this event that begins April 6th and runs through April 15th.
The Chamber invites the community to help by volunteering to clean up streets and neighborhoods. The City will pick up residential items such as old tires, appliances, construction materials, and carpets. Call 279-9222 to have items picked up. The Chamber will provide trash bags to interested parties who will clean up a designated area within the city.
Shredding and Storage Unlimited will provide a locked collection bin at the Chamber office during business hours the week of April 6th for city residents to bring documents to be shredded.
