(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce took home honors at the Indiana Chamber Executives Association (ICEA) Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon on March 15.
Honored for excellence in innovative new ideas, the Chamber received an award for
Communications Excellence in 'Passing the Torch', and also received honorable mention for
their Business Directory and Medical Guide.
"The Bedford Chamber is working hard for our members, and these awards confirm that
our approach for growth and retention is working. It is both humbling and satisfying to be
recognized at the state level," said Jamie Medlock, president of the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce.
"This is the second year in a row that the Bedford Chamber has been honored with two awards at the ICEA conference," Medlock said. "These awards are a reflection on our board of directors and staff, plus our community and business partners. We will continue building on this momentum, working for our members, and planning for the future."
ICEA is a statewide association focusing on professional development of staff members leading local chambers of commerce in Indiana. Founded in 1915, the ICEA membership is comprised of more than 260 professional staff members representing nearly ninety local chambers of commerce around the state.
