(WASHINGTON) - Around 4 p.m. Saturday, Washington Police were called to Kaitlyn’s Closet on East Main Street in Washington.
When police arrived employees reported a shoplifter had run from the store heading west on Main Street and then north on East First Street.
A description of the shoplifter was given to police.
A few minutes later, officers located and arrested 30-year-old Amber Leonard, of Washington.
Leonard was taken to the Daviess County Security Center where she was booked on a charge of theft. She is being held without bond.
