Two Arrested After Investment Scam

(JOHNSON COUNTY) - An investment scam that victimized some current and former Johnson County commissioners has led to two arrests.

Forty-seven-year-old Martin McClary, of Trafalgar and 62-year-old Parry Clark, of Jacksonville, Florida have been charged with 23 counts of securities fraud charges.

Former commissioners Joseph and Troy Dehart and current commissioner Brian Baird were victims of pair.

In all 33 Johnson County residents coughed up $1.6 million after being promised their money would double in a year. A pre-trial hearing is set for March.
