(MITCHELL) - Two people were injured in a collision at the intersection of Ind. 37 and Hancock Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

According to a Mitchell Police report, 36-year-old Shannon Roach, of Mitchell, was traveling north on Ind. 37 in a 2002 Dodge Durango.

That is when 18-year-old Peter McMinds, of Bedford, who was traveling west on Hancock Avenue pulled his 1998 Ford Mustang into the path of Roach's Durango.

Police says Roach had the right-of-way.

Roach suffered injuries to his elbow and lower arm. McMinds suffered bleeding to his head. Both were checked by EMS crews. McMinds was transported to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital.

Roach was cited for driving while his driver's license was suspended.
