(BEDFORD) - Tickets are still available if you’d like to help Becky’s Place, a shelter for homeless women and children, celebrate its first anniversary with a Valentine dinner and dance on Feb. 22 in the St. Vincent Catholic Church Shamrock Center, 1723 I St.
Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the Nostalgia Band is set to play.
Cami Pritchett, Becky's Place executive director, will share some of the stories from the shelter and update donors and volunteers on shelter services, how the first year went and goals for the coming year.
Besides the dinner and dance, there will be a cash bar. Tickets are $20 per person or $35 for a couple. A table of eight costs $140.
