(BEDFORD) - An Oolitic woman was arrested after an accident Tuesday night on M Street.
According to a Bedford police report, Cristine Blivins and a child were sitting in a parked vehicle in the 1100 block of M Street, when a 2013 Ford Escape pulled out of a private drive and ran into the parked 1998 Ford Mustang.
Blivins told police she yelled at the driver to stop, but they fled the scene.
No one was injured in the accident.
Police arrested 39-year-old Hope Thompson, of Oolitic, for driving with a suspended driver's license with prior convictions, leaving the scene of an accident and was cited for false or fictitious registration.
