(NEWBERRY) - INDOT has closed State Road 57 in Greene County to allow for maintenance repairs to the existing White River and White River Overflow bridge structures near Newberry.
Contractor's crews have closed S.R. 57 from State Road 54 near Switz City to State Road 58 in Elnora.
The roadway is anticipated to reopen to traffic by 7 p.m. on Thursday.
All lanes of traffic will be closed at the bridges.
The official detour will route traffic using S.R. 54, S.R. 67, S.R. 59 and S.R. 58.
