Last updated on Tuesday, February 5, 2013

(BEDFORD) - A Mitchell woman was arrested after she caused a disturbance at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital Sunday night.

According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, 41-year-old Julie Kidd, was in the emergency room and extremely intoxicated, cursing and being uncooperative with emergency workers.

"She was being loud and unruly and refusing treatment," Parsley says. "But she was unable to walk by herself because of her condition and no one would come to the hospital to get her."

Parsley says officers tried to talk to Kidd, but she refused to cooperate.

She was treated and then arrested on charges of public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct.
