(BEDFORD) - Bedford native Janie (Abner) McLean will return to her hometown to sign copies of her new book, “Secrets of the Future.”
The event will take place from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Inklings Bookstore, 1020 16th St.
"Secrets of the Future," the first in the author's planned "Jennie Madison trilogy," will be released to the public through Amazon.com and major bookstores on March 5.
The book is a mystery that combines eccentric characters, engaging gossip and the supernatural with Madison's struggle for a life of stability and a sense of self.
McLean grew up in Bedford then moved to Madison, where she worked in a hair salon and raised five children.
