(GUTHRIE) - A Bedford man was injured after he crashed his car on Coveyville Road Thursday night.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 47-year-old Brian Bolton, was traveling east on Coveyville Road and going up the hill when his vehicle began sliding and had no traction.
The 2011 Kia Sorento began sliding backwards at a fast rate of speed. Bolton turned the steer wheel to the left to prevent his vehicle from going off a steep part of the embankment. That caused the vehicle to spin and its rear hit the embankment.
Police say Bolton complained of neck pain.
Police say the snow covered roads contributed to the accident.
