Man Crashes Vehicle, Critically Injured After Police Pursuit

(SEYMOUR) - A pursuit involving a man suspected in several burglaries in Scott County led to a wreck Thursday night that left him hospitalized in critical condition in Louisville, police report.

Terry Kinworthy was injured when the black Toyota Corolla he was driving was involved in a wreck on County Road 800W in Jennings County, according to a new release from Scott County Sheriff's Department. A passenger in that vehicle, Jerika Wayman, was able to get out of the car to get help for Kinworthy. The ages and addresses of Kinworthy and Wayman were not available Friday afternoon.

The incident that led to the wreck began when Scott County police received information that Kinworthy was driving a vehicle that had been reported stolen from the Seymour area, police reported.
