(BEDFORD) - Kaitlyn Martin, a freshman at Bedford North Lawrence, poses with art she created when she was in eighth grade at Shawswick Middle School and now hangs in Children’s Services at Bedford Public Library.
The art, titled "Linda" after Martin's best friend - is a pointillism rendering of a peacock created with markers.
The rendering took two weeks to complete. Martin plays varsity soccer for BNL and plans to be a pediatric psychologist.
