Bedford Woman Arrested After Crashing On Railroad Tracks

(MITCHELL) - A Bedford woman was arrested after she crashed her 2005 Mustang on the railroad tracks in Mitchell.

Jacquelyn French, 33, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated with prior convictions.

According to a Mitchell Police report, French was traveling south on Rabbitsville Road and had turned west onto Hancock Avenue when her 2005 Mustang slid off the road and hit the railroad tracks, causing front end damage to the car.

French failed a field sobriety and a portable breathalyzer and was arrested. According to the police reports her blood alcohol content was .14, the legal limit is under .08.
