Wind Chill Advisory From Monday Night To Tuesday Morning

Last updated on Monday, January 21, 2013

(UNDATED) - The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory effective at 8 p.m. Monday through 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Frigid conditions are expected over much of Indiana tonight. The arrival of an arctic air mass will bring the coldest temperatures in two years to Indiana. Wind chills of 10 to 20 below zero are expected tonight through midday Tuesday.

A wind chill advisory means that very cold air and strong winds will combine to generate low wind chills.

This will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If you must venture outdoors, make sure you wear a hat, gloves and multiple layers of clothing.
