West Washington Teacher Appointed To Business Professionals Of America Board Of Directors

Last updated on Tuesday, January 15, 2013

(SALEM) - Brian Wolfe, a first-year teacher at West Washington Junior-Senior High School and employee of Lost River Career Cooperative, recently received the honor of an appointment to the Business Professionals of America State of Indiana Board of Directors.

Wolfe, who teaches interactive media at the school, is one of ten teachers statewide serving on the board.

Wolfe says being a member of the board will benefit his students who participate in BPA. He believes that by serving on the Indiana BPA Executive Board, the school's chapter will be at the forefront of continued success and lead chapters from across the state in both competitive events and the Torch Awards Program.

He says it will help solidify West Washington Junior-Senior High School as one of the premiere schools in Indiana.

Wolfe may be new to West Washington, but by no means is he new to BPA, having participated in the organization himself as a high school student at Paoli Junior- Senior High School.

Wolfe says BPA provides students with the opportunity to develop skills that will serve them throughout their lifetimes. Business Professionals of America is the leading Career and Technical Student Organization for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology and other related career fields.
