(WASHINGTON) - A Vincennes couple was arrested after their car went into a ditch on the west edge of Washington, early Saturday morning.
Around 4:09 a.m. the Daviess County Sheriff's Department responded to a car that was in a ditch on old U.S. 50 near Daviess Drive
Arrested were 43-year-old Marlin Jeffery Lewis. He was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a refusal, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering another person. His passenger, 36- year old Laura Dawn Fleenor, also of Vincennes, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance.
Both Lewis and Fleenor were released on bond.
