Last updated on Wednesday, January 23, 2013

(ORANGE COUNTY) - Two Orange County men who had made it to the second round of auditions of television’s “The Voice” vocal competition were eliminated Thursday in Chicago.

Paoli's Mike Lankford and Kirby Stailey, of French Lick expressed similar sentiments of disappointment, but were encouraged they made it to the second round of the competition.

Kirby, who is formerly of the Judah area, performs country and Christian music.

Mike, a 2001 graduate of Paoli High School, says he typically performs country, leaning toward songs by artists Toby Keith and Joe Nichols.
