Two Arrested After Meth Found In Vehicle During Traffic Stop

(MITCHELL) - Mitchell Police made a traffic stop on Ind. 60 East at Noe Road at 4:45 p.m. Thursday.

What they thought would be a simple traffic stop, ended in two people going to jail.

Officers found drugs and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Arrested were 41-year-old Anthony Abrams, of Bloomington, on charges possession of meth, possession of a handgun without a permit, illegal possession of a syringe, reckless possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana under 30 grams and possession of a handgun with out a permit.

35-year-old Tomi Hignite, of Bloomington, was charged with possession of meth, illegal possession of a syringe and reckless possession of paraphernalia.
