(BEDFORD) - Indiana State troopers with the Methamphetamine Task Force arrested three people in the parking lot of Ruler’s Monday at 5:30 p.m.

According to Public Information Trooper Sgt. Curt Durnil, troopers were assisted by officers from the Bedford Police Department.

According to Durnil, officers arrested 43-year-old Earl Root, of Medora; 43-year-old Michelle Staggs, of Seymour and 28-year-old Brandie Harris, who told police she was homeless.

Harris was also wanted on a warrant for a probation violation.
