Last updated on Tuesday, January 22, 2013

(MEROM) - Reward money has grown to $35,000 for leads in solving the slaying of an 85-year-old retired farmer in Sullivan County.

Four billboards in Indiana and Illinois and a new Indiana State Police webpage also are soliciting tips about the shooting death of Lowell Badger of rural Merom.

Police say Badger's son found on the bedroom floor, shot to death the morning of December 8th in the man's home.

Electronics and items were missing from the home.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Indiana State Police.
