Man Injured In Washington House Fire

(WASHINGTON) - At 6:56 p.m. Sunday, the Washington Fire Department was called to a house fire at 508 Front Street.

The caller told the 911 dispatch that 59-year-old Tim Gregory, one of the occupants, had been removed from the burning house.

When firefighters and police officers arrived at 7 p.m. fire was shooting out the rear of the home.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze quickly.

According to Washington Police they had been to the home a few hours earlier to break up a domestic fight.

Gregory was taken to the Daviess Community Hospital's Emergency Room for treatment. Gregory's mother owns the house. The fire remains under investigation and according to officials no other details can be released at this time.
