Insects in winter will be focus of program at Ellettsville library, Jan. 9

Visitors to the Ellettsville Branch of the Monroe County Public Library can drop by the program room on Jan. 9 to learn what happens to insects during the winter and make a simple insect craft.

The program runs from 3 to 5 p.m. and will be hosted by a naturalist from Monroe Lake.

The library is at 600 W. Temperance Street.

"Insects always seem to show up pretty quickly once the weather warms," said Wendy Anderson, a naturalist intern at Monroe Lake. "It makes you wonder where they've been during the winter and what they've been doing."
