ISP Finds Meth Lab At Bloomfield Home

(BLOOMFIELD) - On Thursday just before 8 p.m., Indiana State Police Methamphetamine Task Force located an active methamphetamine lab at 8630 East State Road 54 in Bloomfield.

While searching the home troopers found mixed chemicals, a Colman camp fuel, starting fluid, ammonium nitrate, lithium strippings, sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide lye, pseudoephedrine and equipment used to manufacture meth.

Before entering the home, troopers saw 31-year-old Justin Anthony, in the act of manufacturing meth. Troopers also located 6 children between the ages of 2- and 14-years-old. Child Protective Services was contacted to ensure the safety of the children.

Anthony, of Bloomfield, was arrested and taken to the Greene County Jail on the following charges.

1) Manufacturing methamphetamine "B" felony
2) Possession of precursors with intent to manufacture "D" felony
3) Taking a child or endangered adult to a nuisance "D" felony

The investigation is ongoing and could lead to other arrests.
