(BLOOMFIELD) - 20-year-old Anne Marie Emminger, of Bloomfield, is accused of sending text messages containing nude pictures of herself to a 13-year-old girl.
The Greene County Daily World reports that Emminger was arrested Saturday and charged with two felony counts of dissemination of material to a minor.
According to Indiana State Police trooper Richard Klun, police began investigating the allegations on December 8 when police were notified by the child's parents who had confiscated the child's iPhone and found the nude pictures and sexual text messages sent to the child from Emminger.
Greene Circuit Court approved a search warrant for Emminger's cell phone. Police found Emminger December 11th working at Huck's gas Station in Bloomfield where they confiscated the phone.
According to Klun, Emminger knew the child was 13 and knew sending the photos was wrong. She also told police she sent them as a joke. In a later interview, Emminger told police she asked the child to send nude pictures in return.
Evidence obtained after the iPhones were processed by a detective in Owen County includes a CD containing data files from both phones. Police recovered seven nude photos of Emminger.
