Two Birdseye Men Arrested After Police Find Meth

(BIRDSEYE) - An ongoing drug investigation by the Indiana State Police and the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office leads to two arrests.

Thursday morning at approximately 9:10 a.m. officers went to the address of 9098 West State Road 64, in Birdseye to execute a search warrant.

According to ISP Trooper Chad Dick, during that search officers found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The two men were arrested on charged of possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and maintaining a common nuisance. Both men were taken to the Crawford County Jail without incident.

Arrested were 24-year-old Johnny K. Campbell, of Birdseye on charges of possession of methamphetamine, a Class D-Felony; possession of paraphernalia, a Class D-Felony and maintaining a common nuisance, a Class D-Felony.

32-year-old Trevor L. Weathers, of Birdseye was charged with possession of methamphetamine, a Class D-Felony , possession of paraphernalia, a Class D-Felony and maintaining a common nuisance, a Class D-Felony.
