(BEDFORD) - Santa will be at Otis Park.

Santa is planning on spending Dec. 6-8 at the shelter house just behind the 13th green.

Members of the parks department staff will transport guests via a colorful, customized sleigh to the brilliantly lit and resplendently adorned shelter. Children age 5 and younger can ride for no charge. The cost is $2 for those 6 and older.

The project, co-sponsored by the Otis Park Ladies Club, has been a big hit, growing in popularity each December. Visitation times for "An Evening with Santa" are 5:30-9 p.m.

Guests register at Otis Park Bath House, where they are treated to refreshments. They can also browse the holiday bazaar nearby at the Red Brick before hopping aboard the sleigh for the ride to the top of the hill.

Guests are encouraged to bring along non-perishable food items for Lawrence InterFaith Endeavor's pantry.
