(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police are investigating an attempted burglary at Ace Pawn Shop on Fifth Street early Wednesday morning.
According to BPD Chief Dennis Parsley, someone attempted to throw a large rock through the front window and enter the building.
When the rock hit the glass, it triggered the alarm and alerted police. Police found the rock that caused damage to both the window and front door.
Parsley says the manager arrived at the store, retrieved the security video footage and police are reviewing the tapes.
Anyone with information about the attempted burglary is asked to call Bedford police.
