(UNDATED) - The holiday season is here and there are all kinds of activities:

Christmas musical

Bedford Baptist Temple, 2417 N St., will present a new Christmas musical, "One Silent Night: One Holy Lamb." The public is invited to performances tonight and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 6 p.m. Admission is free. For more information, call (812) 797-2449.

Stars Perform

The Bedford North Lawrence High School choir department will have a concert Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The free show will feature all choir groups, including the mixed ensemble, Star Sound, Starlets and chorale.

Children's retreat

Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 4340 Leesville Road, will host a Children's Christmas Retreat from 9:30 a.m. until noon Saturday. All children are invited to come hear the story of Jesus' birth. There will be costumes, crafts, cookies and presents. For more information, call Alice at (812) 966-2171.

'Living Nativity'

Calvary Lutheran Church, Ind. 37 South at 39th Street, will offer a "Drive-Through Living Nativity" from 5-8 p.m. Saturday. The church will accept food donations for LIFE food pantry.

'A Star is Born'

Bedford First Assembly of God, with Kidz First Children's Ministry, will present the children's Christmas musical, "A Star is Born," at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The church is at 2601 27th St. For more information, call 275-4280 or visit www.bedfordfirstag.org.
Drive-through nativity

'Moments in the Master's Life'

Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, 2700 E. Rogers Road, Bloomington, will present, "Moments in the Master's Life," a drive-through portrayal of the nativity and the life of Christ, from 5-9 p.m. Sunday. For more information, (812) 334-0206.

'Christmas Shoe Tree'

The Park Place Church of God will present its Christmas program, "The Christmas Shoe Tree," at 11 a.m. Dec. 16. The church will also conduct a shoe drive in conjunction with the program. If you would like to donate or need shoes, call Cindi Maxwell, (812) 797-5403.

Christmas for singles

Strengthening Singles will host a Christmas party at 6 p.m. Dec. 21 consisting of a pitch-in dinner and games. This is a faith-based group for widowed, divorced and never-married adults. Guests are welcome. For location and other information, call 583-2600.

Christmas dinner

Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene will host the sixth annual Christmas Day dinner from 1-2 p.m. Dec. 25. The meal is free and open to everyone. It will include ham, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, cranberry salad, homemade rolls and dessert. For more information, call the church at 275-7170 or Lynn at (812) 327-7818.
