Experience The World Of Eagles At Patoka Lake Jan. 5

(PATOKA) - Experience the world of eagles with indoor and outdoor programs at Patoka Lake Visitor Center on Saturday, January 5th from 11 a.m.to 3 p.m. during the 26th Annual Eagle Watch.

Featured will be a resident bald eagle and other live raptors. Guest presenter Leslie Grow, DNR Hardy Lake Interpretive Naturalist, will share the life and story of the raptors.

Join Todd Eubank, Patoka Lake Wildlife Specialist and his team as guest travel by car caravan to hot spots for eagle viewing.

Guest presenter Rex Watters, DNR Wildlife Specialist of Monroe Lake, will share his experiences during the 1980s Eagle Reintroduction Program and interesting information about eagles.

Pre-registration is required with a $5 per person program fee. Participants 5 years of age and younger attend at no charge.

Dress for the weather and don't forget to bring binoculars, spotting scopes, and cameras. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Have your vehicles fueled for the car caravan.
