Campbellsburg Man Arrested After Card Game Goes Bad

(CAMPBELLBURG) - A report of an armed man angry about a card game led to a police chase and arrest of a Campbellsburg man early Sunday morning.

Jackson County Sheriff's Department arrested 37-year-old William Moon on felony charges of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Two loaded long-guns were found inside Moon's truck.

Officer Adam Nicholson responded to a report Moon was heading to Jackson County in a blue Toyota pickup truck with the intention of shooting a man.

The report came from a person in Washington County reported Moon had loaded firearms in his truck and was on his way to Jackson County to shoot a person because of a card game that took place Saturday night in Sparksville.
