Last updated on Thursday, November 8, 2012

(BEDFORD) - A Bloomington woman was injured after the truck she was riding in was rear-ended on Ind. 37 Wednesday afternoon.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, the vehicle that rear-ended the truck fled the scene and police are looking for a white 2-door car driven by a female with brown hair.

Police say,27-year-old Matthew Stone, of Bloomington, was traveling south on Ind. 37 and had stopped at a stop light at Old Ind. 37 when the white car rear-ended his 2004 Ford F-150.

Stone was not injured, but his passenger 22-year-old Courtney Stone, of Bloomington, complained of neck pain.

The woman told Stone she wanted to drive to a gas station to exchange information but she then fled the scene.

A witness told police the woman was driving the car erratically and almost hit her vehicle who was in the lane next to Stone.

Anyone with information about the vehicle that now has front end damage or the driver is asked to call police.
