Woman Injured After Deer Collides With Vehicle

(BEDFORD) - A Mitchell woman was injured after a deer ran into the path of the vehicle she was riding in Monday morning.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 72-year-old James Lynch was traveling north on Ind. 37 near U.S. 50 at 9:27 a.m. when a near darted from the west side of the roadway and into the path of his 2012 GMC Torrent.

James was not injured, but his passenger 69-year-old Wanda Lynch complained of stomach and hip pain.
