Williams Woman Injured In Rear-End Collision

(NEEDMORE) - A Williams woman was injured after her car was rear-ended at the traffic light at Ind. 37 and Old Ind. 37 Thursday.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 26-year-ld Autumn Morris, of Williams, was in the northbound lane and was stopped at the light.

Traffic began to move slowly after the light changed green and that is when Morris' 2009 Volkswagen Jetta was hit in the rear by a 2002 Toyota 4-Runner driving by 48-year-old Amy Zierten, of Powell.

Morris complained of pain and was taken by an IU Health ambulance for treatment. Marshall Volunteer Fire Department first responders were also at the scene.

Zierten was not injured and refused medical treatement.
